You can make plan o visit Burning Lake, also know as Mebar Tsho which is of historical and spiritual importance and is on the road leading to Tang village. This is considered as a very sacred lake which hides many treasures. Multi coloured flags add to the beauty of this lake. The beauty of the lake in the night can not be explained.

How to reach :

By Air: The nearest airport is Bathpalathang Airport in Jakar. Flight from Paro to Jakar takes around an hour. Tashi air flies daily from Paro to Jakar and return. There are flights available from Thimpu as well to Jakar which takes around 50 minutes.
By Road: To enjoy scenic beauty of Bhutan, it is best to travel by road (please mind that its hilly area, comfort may be compromised). You can drive from Thimpu and Paro to Bumthang via Wangdi Phodrang to Punakha to Trongsa and then to Bumthang. You can use regular bus service or hire a luxury bus for large group or can even hire a car to drive yourself. It takes around 8 to 12 hours to reach the destination while enjoying the journey. Distance from Thimpu is around 271 Km and from Paro, around 312 Km.
