Pawalgarh Conversation Reserve, covering an area of 58.25 sq. km. is located in the hill state of Uttrakhand, in the foothills of Nanital District.
Pawalgarh, home to some marvelous forests, became famous after the publication of the story “Bachelor of Pawalgarh” in the book “Maneaters of the Kumaon” published by legendary hunter turned conservationist, Jim Corbett, in 1944.
