Haiderpur wetland is around 1,200 hectares in size and is primarily in the backwaters of Ganga river. 200 hectares of the land can be used by Wild lifers. The wetland is part of 2,074 sq km Hastinapur Wildlife Sanctuary spread over five districts of west UP—Muzaffarnagar,

You can find winter migratory birds in this event. This is an ideal place that witnesses a large number of migratory birds. Haiderpur Bird Festiva is a great event to bird enthusiasts as this is time for winter migratory birds.

Location – Haiderpur wetland, Muzaffarnagar adjoining Bijnore barrage on river Ganga
