Its tropical rainforests conceal dainty nooks and corners for solitary travelers. Assam thrives on wildlife tourism with well-maintained national parks and sanctuaries inhabiting animals like the rare one-horned Indian rhinoceros. Kaziranga National Park and Manas National Park are UNESCO recognized World Heritage Sites and popular birding destinations in Assam. Migratory patterns of birds can be linked mostly to these regions.

Schedule

Day 1 - Early morning pick up from any place in Jorhat,  then drive to Gibbon WLS for half day birding. Drive to Magui Beel in afternoon (Some birding on the way). Stay at Maguri.

Day 2 - Whole day birding at Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary which is a very rich area in terms of flora and fauna.

Day 3 - Whole day birding around Maguri Grassland and through boat, and in another grassland near Tinsukia.

Day 4 - Whole day birding at Digboi, another range of Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary. Leave for Dibrugarh/Jorhat in the late afternoon.

What's Included - Pickup and drop from Jorhat airport/ any preferred location nearby and all transport in between, stay at Tinsukia or Maguri in Hotel or Camp, all meals, guide fee, boat ride charges and all entry tickets and permits.
