My stint with birding has seen four decades. My life journey has been full of struggle for survival but as it progressed, it kept on improving because of my hard work. I started my career as a boatman in Bharatpur, followed by rickshaw puller to the ‘Birdman of Bharatpur’ (A name given to me by my German client).

I got the fortune to assist Mr. Salim Ali and had been lucky enough to assist the king of Bharatpur himself.

The vicinity of forest officials like Hukum Singh honed my birding skills. I am amongst the most experienced naturalists in Bharatpur.
